Our commitment
We aim to provide an inclusive online experience for Deaf and disabled people and to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA wherever reasonably possible.
What we have done
- Used clear headings, readable text and strong colour contrast.
- Made navigation and interactive controls usable with a keyboard.
- Included visible focus states and descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
- Designed layouts to adapt across desktop, tablet and mobile screens.
- Supported reduced-motion preferences where animation is used.
- Used captions, transcripts and British Sign Language content where these are available.
Known limitations
Some older media, third-party videos or externally supplied content may not yet include complete captions, transcripts or audio description. Embedded services and external websites are controlled by their providers, so their accessibility may vary. We are working to improve these areas as content is reviewed and updated.
