Finding a restaurant that suits all dietary needs and has a table available at a time that suits all members of the party can be a very tricky task, particularly if you have children (Or guests with children) and elderly people amongst their number. However, this isn’t a factor with a private dining experience from Duchy Chef, as we prepare and serve a bespoke menu to you and your guests in the location of your choosing.

 

Following a pre-dinner consultation, we carefully create menus for each group, using local, seasonal produce and taking care to accommodate themes and food preferences. If you’re hosting a large group, we can provide waiting and bar staff so that you can focus on entertaining your guests.

On the day of the private dining event, we will always arrive early with all necessary ingredients, staff and equipment to begin preparing the menu. (Please note, we can provide cutlery, glassware and crockery upon request.) Once the night begins, we will introduce each course to your guests, talking about where the ingredients are sourced from and what inspired the dish; so that you have an immersive dining experience and a real sense of occasion.

CANAPES

Squid ink crackers, smoked cods roe, borage
Alaskan crab cucumber cups with thai basil and caviar
Salt cured sardines, rye and pickled samphire
Smoked sea trout, lovage and green pea tarts

STARTERS

Burrata di bufala, crown prince squash, crispy kale and shaved truffle

Scallop tartare, smoked scallop emulsion and cured bottarga
Chinese chilli charred hispi with quinoa crumble and blue cheese
